Summary: 1- I rolled up to the reception and introduced my self having a booking with Expedia or Hotels.com. 2- Woman at reception acted like an owner. She looked into her system and could not find the booking. She told me that Hotels.com was not Expedia and sometimes some of these small businesses do not send through the booking. (Really? Every other Hotels.com booking has always referred to Experia being Hotels.com) 3- She said she would match the Hotels.com price and asked to show me the booking. (I showed her the booking on my phone and the price and she said she would not honour that price) 4- She said she would charge me a Saturday night room rate and kindly would help me then to cancel the booking with Hotels.com. 5- She then entered my name and number and noticed I had stayed there before. I agreed to stay. 6- She then charged me $195.00 or nearly 25% more.(I felt that she lied and took advantage of me by not honouring the email that I had) 7- I asked her to send me a receipt that never arrived. (Maybe a typo error) 8-And finally.... they have done up the rooms. Well done! Now.... I have been to India 3 times and seen more of India than most Indians. I like India, in India. The rooms were far to gaudy for me as they were what I have seen in India. 9- They have upgraded all the power points and switches to the new LED/Touch type switches, that are always glowing. This did not help me with my need to have a dark room when I’m asleep. 10. Summary. I felt I was duped and taken ad
