Summary: The Sheraton is a good island option because it’s comparatively handy to Denarau and has a great outlook. However, it’s a bit tired, the beach is only “OK” for swimming (lots of seaweed) and the food is more expensive and of a lesser quality than you get at Denarau. The rooms are spacious and fairly comfortable but a bit tired and missing some of the basics - no hairdryer, for example. Whether this hotel works for you will depend on what you are looking for. If you want a fly and flop holiday with a bit of luxury, you would be better at Denarau. However, if you want to be out in the islands and understand the trade off it’s a good option. South Sea Cruises Cat (rather than their main ferry) is a good option for transfers as it’s faster and a slightly more personal experience.
