Summary: First, be aware, this is a lodge not a hotell. So expect more bungalow style comfort! The roome we had, which had a terrace and a fantastic swingchair overlooking the forest was very idylic. But, the location is very remote. Its very relaxing, as there is nothing around, but also very unconvinient. If you are here to visit the national forest park with the avatar mountains, its a fantastic location. If you are doing many of the other attractions it is very far away. We went to the glas bridge, booked taxi for 07:15 to beat the que( Before breakfast, which starts at 8), and arrived at the glass bridge at 09:00, this was without traffic. Tiaman mountain and yellow dragen cave are also very far away, so you spend a lot of time and money on transportation, if you a planning a longer stay. So even though, the staff here, especially Olivia is very helpful and great in English, chose this place if the relaxing feel is important. It almost feel like a bungalow in Bali, but you dont have access to other restaurants or markeds. So you are stuck with what is there, and for me personally, i didnt like the food much, so i ended up buying food in the city after one of our tours and eate at the room in the evening. Which i didnt really mind because the terrace was so nice and it was so different from the other big cities we visited in China. Although, we skipped Tiaman mountains, as too tired of transportation, we enjoyed the relaxation of the place. I highly recomend it, for the right ppl.
