6 Bedroom House in Nelson Bay
Our house is renovated to make it bright & cheerful by mixing the retro, modern & beach lifestyle. With 253 square metres of internal living space the house can comfortably accommodate large groups of guests.
The Beach & Bay Holiday house is air conditioned & has 3 private full bathrooms plus1 ensuite to main upstairs bedroom, toilet in laundry & an external shower.
There are 7 separate sleeping areas available. This provides privacy for guests even when large groups are staying.
Our local knowledge is second to none and we enjoy sharing our local knowledge with our guests to make your stay more enjoyable.
The space
The Beach & Bay rooms are located on the ground floor. These rooms are spacious & have a fridge.
Upstairs is the kitchen, dining, lounge, family room (with comfortable sofa bed) and 3 other bed rooms.
The kitchen cupboards have labels on them to assist you in finding what you are looking for.
The dining table can seat up to 12 guests & the nearby island bench seats another 4 guests.
As per Vrbo instructions the hosts must be notified of parties and events.
Please Note - Swimming pool is heated but is dependent on the warmth from the sun so during our winter months the water temperature may only reach 20 degrees Celsius.
Our guests have exclusive use and full access to the facilities of the house.
Out the front of the house there is free off street parking for 5 cars. Free parking is also available across the road.
Out the back there is a cabana, BBQ area, pool, putting green & entertainment areas.
Other things to note
The house is 1.5km from the centre of Nelson Bay with it's beautiful Bay & marina area.
Fresh seafood is available from the marina area on a daily basis.
Only 700 metres to 2 of the most beautiful beaches in Nelson Bay.
The housed is located opposite the Nelson Bay Diggers Club with bistro, restaurant and entertainment.

Ground floor unit configuration:
The Bay Unit - King bed can be converted to twin singles, air-conditioned, full bathroom & small fridge.
The Beach Unit - Queen bed, air-conditioned, full bathroom & small fridge. Also has 2 single beds. Has disabled access & has an additional room of requirement with a queen size sofa bed suitable for older children or adults if required.
Our poolside cabana has 2 single beds suitable for teenagers and adults. With access to outside toilet in laundry.
The Location:
'Beach & Bay,' 121 Shoal Bay Road is located across from Nelson Bay Diggers Club & is a 700 metre walk to family friendly Little Beach. Nelson Bay Marina is just 1km away, where the kids can play in the park or the playground, & just follow the foreshore path into Nelson Bay. Or just over 1km in the opposite direction, is the beautiful Shoal Bay Beach, with a great choice of cafes & restaurants.
Juke Box: Turn power on & you can set up your own Bluetooth playlist or use as radio or CD player – turn up the volume, but be mindful of the time because we have to get on with the neighbours after you leave.
The Cabana & Pool Area Out The Back: is set up for entertainment – Outdoor smart TV (has Fox sports), Kool Kombi Chilly Bin & a large fridge to keep your drinks chilled. The covered patio area has a large outdoor setting. The sun beds are waiting for you to relax by the tropical in-ground solar heated pool. A gas BBQ & 2nd outdoor setting are set up close by to prepare that family feast or just enjoy the great outdoors. There is an additional hideaway area for parents that just want a quiet place to sit & read, but still be able to keep an eye on the kids.
• Linen is supplied at this property & we will make up the beds to save you the hassle.
• There is a separate laundry with a washer & dryer set up for your convenience on the ground floor, with separate toilet easily accessible from the pool & entertainment area.
• Also available is a couple of portable baby cots and a safety gate for the top of the stairs.
• Bath & pool towels are also supplied.
• As long as you provide advance notice we can change the bedding configuration in all the bedrooms from King beds to twin singles – request when booking.
Local Guide: is available, at separate cost, for small group tours that include: Local features (beaches, lookouts, walking tracks), 4wd tours & general information about Port Stephens from someone that grew up here. Can also do beginner surf lessons.
