Summary: We booked the oceanview room in front, room 2, with floor to ceiling windows, with a balcony that runs the width of the building. The balcony is open to all guests, therefore there is no privacy in the room. You can’t enjoy the great ocean view with guests sitting in front of your room's window, talking, smoking, and partying until 2am. We had to leave the curtains closed the entire 2 day stay. The constant chatter in the hallway was a bit much, so no, the room was not soundproof. The amenities were frugal, with one towel. We purchased an extra towel, shampoo and soap at a local shop. No TV, no ceiling fan, but the AC worked great and the mini fridge was convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to check in early with no problem. It was very kind, and very much appreciated. The location is great. Walkable, close to everthing in Savusavu.
